
As we support more children, young people, and families throughout Wales, we are adding training dates to support more amazing people work alongside us, ensuring that wherever they reside in Wales, no child grieves alone.
Our two-day training, coupled with plenty of telephone and online support from the team will equip you with the knowledge to support our families at some of their most difficult times.
Whether you give a lot or a little time, ad hoc support, or simply want to be better equipped to support young people through bereavement within your own setting then that’s fine with us.
Day One (Wednesday 15th April, 9.30am – 3.30pm)
Sandy Bear DIY Bereavement basics.
An introduction to the charity, to bereavement support and some useful knowledge to get you started.
Sign up to Day one only if you would like an insight into our work and expand your knowledge of supporting children and young people in the lead up to or following a bereavement. This is a CPD certified course:
Day Two (Thursday 16th April 9.30am – 3.30pm)
Sandy Bear volunteer training
For those who have completed the DIY bereavement basics previously.
Sign up to both days if you are totally new to Sandy Bear but want to be able to volunteer with Sandy Bear or to expand your knowledge whilst volunteering with other organisations that are part of the Enfys Alice collaboration.
