At Sandy Bear, we believe that no child should face bereavement alone. When someone special dies, a child or young person can feel lost, confused, and isolated. Our support helps bring light into those difficult times and it’s your generosity that makes it possible.
What is Summer of Smiles?
Summer of Smiles is our text-to-give fundraising campaign running throughout August. It’s a feel-good way to support bereaved children and young people by making a small donation that makes a big difference.
With every £2 donation, you’re helping us provide:
- One-to-one support and peer group sessions
- Resources and activities that promote healing
- Ongoing care for families, carers, and guardians
- Moments of connection, laughter, and hope for grieving children
