If I could explain Sandy Bear in three words, it would be Fantastic, Loving, Family. Sandy Bear has already played a big role in my life, and its still playing that part. In my opinion, I think I would be in debt to Sandy Bear my whole life because of the care, motivation, love and courage that they have given me are invaluable. At last, whenever I hear the name Sandy Bear, I feel happy and I think of the fun which takes place with the lovely staff. I am a bereaved child myself, and bereavement can change people’s lives. It changed mine to a very sad one, but it came back on track, and it’s becoming a lovely one just because of Sandy Bear. If you are with Sandy Bear at the end of the day, I guarantee that fun and caring would be the 2 things of many that you would say about your experience with Sandy Bear.

I don’t know where I would be without Sandy Bear! The most amazing people, who really do go above and beyond for families.
XXX helped us through our darkest of days and always put a smile on our faces when we needed it most. The most supportive, kindhearted person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Navigating me through the difficult questions asked by my children, always reassuring and giving the best advice.
My children love seeing our worker and really love the group sessions, which are amazing.
I will forever be indebted to XXX and the Sandy Bear team and will never, ever forget their kindness to me and my children. Truly amazing people, each and every one. Xxx

When I took my granddaughters to Sandy Bear they looked so sad and confused. Their mum had died 12 months previous. They needed help and after the first session at Sandy Bear I could see the mist start to clear. After all the sessions they smiled, looked confident and could talk about their mum. I will never have the words that can express how grateful I will always be for Sandy Bear for clearing the mist and giving them back their smiles.people, each and every one. Xxx

As an emotional literacy support assistant in a school, I have worked closely with xxx from Sandy Bear. The support, advice, and resources I have received from the charity have been invaluable allowing me to provide the best possible support to children suffering bereavement.
It has given me more of an understanding of the process of grieving and I have been able to provide children with some lovely experiences such as making memory jars, photo frames and activities that help children to talk about their emotions. It has been extremely beneficial for the children’s well-being by working closely with the charity and I am extremely grateful for their wonderful ideas, advice, and support.
